California 02:56
I am driving up to the sun Between Pacific and the 5AM sky I am riding late for my time Far away from where I have been before Yesterdays are far behind I am going out for a while I am leaving now for tomorrow I am already dreaming Of Pacific Blue Yesterdays are far behind

I am running out of time, she told me, time is slowly working its way against us. I gotta leave this scene, she said so, You can leave it with me, if you can. If it was raining out, I wouldn't be so unhappy, If it was raining out, I wouldn't be so unhappy, I’ll be waiting for you by the cross roads, with the autumn leaves flying close I know its hard and its not easy, walking into the dying of the light OHH AND LA LA LA LA If it was raining out, I wouldn't be so unhappy, If it was raining out, I wouldn't be so unhappy,

Desert Haze 02:30
Desert haze in the moonless glow Where do we go? When there is no light In to the glow, we must slowly go Find me some love, on the 64th I can't remember when you laughed so hard Desert haze in its starless glow There’s nothing to lose, when your love is gone Love is gone, in the desert haze Nothing to lose, When there is no love Love is gone, in the desert haze
5.
I saw you catch my eye, in the rearview mirror as we drove into the night. With your hand on mine, I felt my life slipping through your hand. Into the night we drove in your black cadillac I couldn't see anything in front of me, Except for the glow of the red stop sign, And then I knew that I wouldt survive. And I didn't noticed the knife you were holding And I didn’t noticed the knife you were holding In your hand You said, you always loved me, as you Plunged the knife in my heart With your hand on mine, I felt my life slipping through your hand. And I didn't noticed the knife you were holding And I didn’t noticed the knife you were holding

about

'Post Falls, Idaho by Volatile Youth ' is a 10 song LP with a middle of nowhere Southern gothic feel, poetry, washed out trem/reverb guitars and a lot of twang. Subject matter deals with issues such us murder, loneliness, desolate spaces, travel, and the occult.

This record is nostalgically influenced in part by bands like Mazzy Star, Jesus And Mary Chain, and flavoured by twists of country Americana.'

“So many great vibes. Each song was like a mini movie.”
